Hi guys, just regarding the LTR visa. I have mutual funds that have a Capital growth , it doesnt pay dividends. The statement shows an annualised grown in capital.

Would that be enough to show as passive income for the LTR visa.

Thanks for your help and input.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's inquiry about whether the capital growth from mutual funds can be considered as passive income for the Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa in Thailand was addressed. According to a comment, capital growth alone is not sufficient; the required funds must be withdrawn from the mutual funds to meet the visa's passive income criteria.

No. You would have to take the required money out of the mutual funds

is that what they mean as realised capital gains? Selling the funds would realise the gains.
