Will my two land border entries for Thailand be used up if I stay less than a day?

I entered Thailand about a month ago via land, but only stayed for 2 days. I plan to enter again via land as a border run so

likely less than 1 day.

Does this mean my 2 land entries for the year will be used up? Or do you think I will be allowed more because I will not have spent any significant amount of time in the kingdom?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand via land, the two entries per calendar year for visa-exempt nationals will be counted regardless of the length of stay. Therefore, even if the traveler only stays for less than a day, both land entries will be used up in the current calendar year.

2 a year doesn’t matter if you stayed 5 minutes

okay thanks everyone i decided to pay for extension rather than border bounce. Its definitely more expensive but keeps options open if i wanna go to thailand before next year

It's a really dumb rule

it's not a dumb rule - it was brought in because people were abusing the system and bouncing out and in to live here on visa exempt entries.

why is it a dumb rule?

Only two allowed.

Depends on your passport and if you're using visa exempts.

You will have used up your two land border entries in a calendar year, regardless of how many days you stayed in Thailand.
