Is the 30 day visa exemption unlimited by air or not? Because last time I came to Thailand 🇹🇭 on a 3 month tourist visa obtained at the Thai Embassy in London 🇬🇧 then travelled by Air to Cambodia 🇰🇭 on my arrival at Don Mueang head of immigration told me I cannot do it and he will ban me if I do it again, my Wife had to speak with him to clarify I was living with her and would do the TM30 report.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community discusses the nuances of Thailand's 30-day visa exemption, particularly when traveling by air. While technically unlimited, entry is subject to the discretion of immigration officers, who can enforce rules differently. The conversation also highlights the importance of obtaining the appropriate visa type, such as the NON-O visa for those married to Thai citizens, and the implications of one’s official status when entering the country.

Jason ...once again you have answers to your question. But what is puzzling ...You say you are now married to a Thai. Why don't you go to Savannakhet and get the Non O Married to Thai visa?
In recent months you have asked in many postings about entries and ways to live in Thailand.
You received many helpful replies, yet you are still struggling with visa exempt entries and border runs. WHY ?
And with that said...I wish you find your way....and close commenting...
Technically it’s unlimited via air, however, it’s at the whims of the I/O you’re going to whether or not they acquiesce to that requirement....best bet is to be nice, smile and never argue with them
Might want to edit facebook profile which says married with Thai wife and living in Bangkok. Immigration check this sort of thing and can on that basis deny entry as a "tourist".
The visa exempt entry and the tourist visa are both for short time visits as tourist, not to live inside Thailand. That your address is reported within 24 hours has nothing to do with permission to get into the country.
