Hi, Over the past 2 years, I have entered Thailand about 10 times using my Australian passport. Some stays were just 3-5 days, while others were about 50 days with extensions. I have made 2 border trips to Cambodia: one on June 22, 2023, and the other on January 30, 2024. I read online that I can only do 2 border trips per year, and that time has now completed, I guess. Am I currently eligible for a third border trip?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has made two border trips to Cambodia this year but was unclear about the rules regarding visa-exempt border runs in Thailand. Responses confirmed that individuals can perform two land border runs per calendar year without a visa, meaning the user is eligible for one more border trip within the year.
I've never been to Malaysia only Cambodia & Laos. Coming back to Thailand with a multi-entry permit or Visa will be fine whether same day or anytime within the validity date.
Put a few other countries stamps in your passport, cheap like Malaysia, or Indonesia to make you look like a tourist. Once in a while I forget that it's in my pocket and I accidentally put it in the washing machine, which has caused me to discover that many countries stamps aren't waterproof
The restrictions regarding border runs for visa exemptions is only two in a calendar year (1. Jan - 31 dec) by land borders. No official restrictions by airports.
