Will my retirement extension of stay be canceled if I receive a temporary work permit in Thailand?

I'm going to shut down this post. Different extension of stays allow people to perform different activities in Thailand. Some extension of stays allow the holder having a work permit, some don't.

It's also important to say exactly what type of extension of stay a person has. For example, saying that a person has an extension of stay based on raising a child is worthless. Anyone who generates any type of economic activity in Thailand must have a work permit before performing any type of work, otherwise, it's illegal, and you could be fined and deported if caught.

I have an extension of stay based on my child and was given a TWP... so it is possible.

My TWP is valid for 6 months and I have just renewed my extension of stay also so it is possible.

I don’t know if the company I’m going to be working for had any influence on this.

Is it possible to assist on a voluntary basis i.e. no contract, no salary, no commitment, just help out now and again without endangering a retirement visa?

Employment is forbidden, and you can not get a work permit if you have this extension of stay.
