To buy or not to buy?
My extension of stay based on retirement is ending on April 4th 2018 and I already extended it for another year (till April 4th, 2019).
last year I bought a multiply re-entry permit. If I leave Thailand BEFORE April 4th 2018 and come back after a month - is my previous re-entry permit, which is valid until April 4th 2018, still covers this trip? Or - should I buy a new one?
Thanks in advance !
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired whether their existing multiple re-entry permit would still be valid if they left Thailand before their extension of stay expired. Community members clarified that re-entry permits are linked to the specific extensions under which they are issued. Consequently, since they obtained a new extension, they needed to purchase a new re-entry permit to avoid canceling their extension upon re-entering Thailand.
