I will apply for the NON-IMMIGRANT VISA (O) RETIREMENT next week.

I have all the required documents but there is one problem:

I have Bank statements with 20,000 EUR balance per month end of the last 3 months. But due to exchange rate fluctuations and the appreciation of the Thai Baht In the first month, it was slightly less than 800,000 baht. From November to Dezember it's a bit more than 800,000 Baht because I made another small deposit in Novemer.

What do you think, they will reject the visa application?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The applicant is concerned about their bank statements showing a balance slightly lower than 800,000 Baht due to exchange rate fluctuations, which may affect their NON-IMMIGRANT VISA (O) RETIREMENT application. Responses indicate that requirements can vary by embassy, with some prioritizing the most recent bank statement, suggesting that there may still be a possibility for approval.

For Non O visa, you have to show from your home bank you have funds 800,000 THB or more.

Say, you have there in your account 80 thousands EUR or more, that is all you need.

For non -O nobody is asking you for any insurance.

I applied 23rd December 11:50am for a non O retirement at Vienna Embassy. Same day late afternoon request Insurance Policy (at least 90day coverage). on Dec. 29th uploaded Insurance policy (just before lunch) and same day again 6pm the email arrived: approved! What was this? This is how many working days? 1 or 2? I am still amazed!

I applied late November last year for a non-o and submitted 1x proven address, 1x bank funds and 2 x payslips, Thinking by mid December still no word I decided to reapply Thinking I hadn't submitted enough paperwork so reapplied on 22nd Dec only to receive an approval on the 24th Dec then another approval on the 5th of January 2026 ๐Ÿ˜† so I would suggest to anyone out there to be be patient when waiting for an approval!! ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿคฃ Hence I now have 2 Non-O visas dated 2 weeks apart from London Embassy.

That depends on the embassy you are apply at. They each set their own requirements. Almost all of them want multiple months of bank statements, but how many of those bank statements need to show the required amount of funds varies greatly. A lot of the Thai embassies in western countries just want to see the most recent bank statement met the requirements.
