Can someone give me in Thai language the requirement from the bank for retirement visa
Eg more than 800K, for more than 2 months and that it came from a foreign source ....
Bangkok Bank are getting very confused
TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirements for obtaining a retirement visa, specifically the bank balance requirement, can be confusing. Generally, for a Non-Immigrant O visa, applicants need to demonstrate a bank balance of at least 800,000 THB that has been maintained for at least 2 months from a foreign source. However, if applying for a one-year extension of stay based on being over 50 years of age, the funds do not necessarily have to come from abroad. Bangkok Bank, and other banks, can provide a standard letter confirming the balance, which must be supported by a 3-month passbook showing deposit history.
