I opened the bank account with Non-B visa. Now I am holding the DTV.

Can they close my bank account If I do an update in the bank? Because I have to do a face scan to activate my new debit card. (Kplus Bank)

I went in twice for a face scan and last time (this week), didn’t ask. I went to the kbank at Emquartier.

DTV holders have no rights in Thailand and bank account rightly should not be warranted

Can you tell us about the experience? Did you need to cancel the Non B visa first before applying for DTV?

If you update the bank about your visa. They might force you to close the account

possibly. best thing is to go in, dont tell them about your visa. if they ask about your visa say you have it at home or are leaving to change visas tomorrow or something and get out before they decide to close your account. (they dont know how the thai visa process works) There is a chance they wont look at your visa when doing something small like registering app or face scan for new card.
