Can I apply for a DTV visa with 500,000 THB only in a Thai bank account?
Hi I’ve been living in Thailand for 4 years on non B visa and saved all my money (500000 THB) in my Kruingthai account I’ll be doing Muay Thai for 9 months if I get approved. The issue is that I don’t have any other bank account other than the Thai bank account. Will I get rejected ? Do I have to show an account with 500000ThB outside Thailand?

OPRobert Grazer it I read your comment correctly I will be doing Muay Thai for 9 months, I been living and working4 years here and resigned and now Amy to do Muay Thai but only have Thai bank account to apply for the dvt visa, and they said I will get rejected as it needs to be an account outside Thailand with the

I guess you are planning to apply for a DTV based on attending a Muay Thai course. It doesn't matter which bank the 500k is in, you can also be asked to show how you will support yourself for the period of the visa

Quintin Van Der Mescht if you live in Thailand just go to immigration and ask there when you do your TM.30 90 days when you there by. Or just ask any agency by walk in there personally na ka ;)

Quintin Van Der Mescht It can't be just any Muay Thai school especially one with misinformation. School has to be certified, licensed, and registered with all the appropriate authorities and ministries to be recognized for DTV approval. Make sure they have a track record of successful approvals and at which embassies those approvals were gained. Your bank account can be anywhere in the world.
