Answer summary

The poster inquired about obtaining a re-entry permit at the Jomtien immigration office, expressing concerns about the speed of the process given their upcoming flight. Comments suggested that getting a re-entry permit at immigration usually takes 5-10 minutes and can be done at both airports in Bangkok, making it feasible to obtain on the same day if using the airport desk. However, it was advised that if not flying from Bangkok, it may be better to secure one in advance.

If you are using Svernabhumi airport, follow the sign. If you are using Don Muang airport, one entry for passport control, so you cannot miss it.

A re-entry permit has to be issued on the spot at the immigration office. If you are leaving from Bangkok, getting it at either airport would be easy. ut if you fly out from other airports, better to get one in advance.

general information for the re-entry permit is attached. Both airports in Bangkok information is included.

Takes 5-10 mins at immigration. You'll see the sign for re-entry permits. Hard to miss. After security, before immigration. 1200 baht. No forms or photos required. They do it all. Better option than going to the immigration office
