Hi everyone,

I have a question that I hope you can help me with.

I have a plan to fly from Canada to Laos to meet up with a friend for approximately a week or two. We then plan to enter Thailand by crossing the boarder to continue our vacation. Will we be asked to quarantine for 7 nights when entering?

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about potential quarantine requirements upon entering Thailand after traveling from Canada to Laos. In the comments, it is highlighted that land borders are generally closed for foreign travelers, suggesting that flying from Laos to Thailand may be necessary. Current entry options include sandbox programs or quarantine upon arrival.

Only Nong Khai border crossing is supposed to be open. But not heard any reports if foriegners are allowed.

At present only sandbox entry or quarantine.

I would make a different plan

The land borders are closed. You'll have to fly in from Laos to Thailand. I think you'll have to do something like Laos to Vietnam, Vietnam to Singapore, and Singapore to Phuket.
