TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion clarifies that leaving Thailand before the 5th Covid test is possible without penalties, but returning will require redoing the entry process, including obtaining a new Thai Pass and undergoing all tests again. Concerns about travel to Laos are also noted, with a commenter mentioning that Laos is currently closed.
There is no problem leaving Thailand before day 5. The problem is when you come back into Thailand as you will have to do everything again, just like you've never been here before, including new ThaiPass, rt-pcr test, covid specific insurance, and day 1, and day 5 PCR testing and hotel booking. There is no penalty for leaving early, unless you test positive.
when you start filling in the thailandpass you just need to follow the instructions of what to do when they ask for hotels etc, very simple and instructions easy
, really my final destination is Laos. Iโm just transiting but no flight โ๏ธ to Laos the day I arrived so I have to go via all the requirements (sucks). On my way back, I will make sure I get in the flight โ๏ธ same day less than 24hrs
