For the 1st test and the 5th test. Is it mandatory to stay in Thailand 🇹🇭 for the 5th test? I was thinking about flying to Laos on my 3rd day.

There is no problem leaving Thailand before day 5. The problem is when you come back into Thailand as you will have to do everything again, just like you've never been here before, including new ThaiPass, rt-pcr test, covid specific insurance, and day 1, and day 5 PCR testing and hotel booking. There is no penalty for leaving early, unless you test positive.

If you go Laos and want come back Thailand, need to do another 'pass'.

But if you only stay 3 days in Thailand , I think is not a problem for not doing test on day 5

when you fill out for the pass you need to indicate that you are staying less than 5 nights, and also show proof of leaving,,

when you start filling in the thailandpass you just need to follow the instructions of what to do when they ask for hotels etc, very simple and instructions easy

, really my final destination is Laos. I’m just transiting but no flight ✈️ to Laos the day I arrived so I have to go via all the requirements (sucks). On my way back, I will make sure I get in the flight ✈️ same day less than 24hrs

not sure you will be, payment for day 1 and 5 are non refundable if your TP is approved.

Inform the hotel about your situation and see how they respond
