TLDR : Answer Summary
If you perform a Ranong visa run before your multiple entry visa expires, you will receive a new 60 days of stay upon your re-entry. Additionally, this period can be extended for an extra 30 days at the Immigration Office.

As long as you enter Thailand just before or on the Enter Before / Valid Until date stated on the Visa you get 60 days of Admitted to Stay, which can be extended with another 30 days at Immigration Office.
