ATT Tod Daniels and co I am returning to Thailand on Monday, and just noticed I lost my 90-day report slip, will the fellows at Suvarnabhumi give me a hard time entering and what exactly is the procedure. I have read that you should make a police report but not exactly sure how i would be doing that if im entering the country. Any advice appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is concerned about re-entering Thailand without their 90-day report slip. Community members agree that since they have exited the country, the previous reporting is effectively reset, meaning that the 90-day clock starts over upon re-entry. Some participants suggest that while it might not be necessary to present the previous slip upon entry, some immigration offices may request it when filing future reports. Others recommend being organized and keeping copies of all immigration documents in the future. Concerns about needing a police report for the lost slip were discussed, but the general consensus is that re-entry should not be a problem.

In my experience, once I left the country I did not need the 90 day report slip anymore. As the clock is set back once you enter the country. In fact I've missed a 90 day reporting and left the country and returned with no slip and had no problems returning to the 90 day reporting once the new entry stamp has been activated.

Mmm maybe a good idea to scan all documents you get in the immigration, including all pages of your passports and store it by year in a folder of your computer.

I myself have 50 years records of all PP and doc. from immigrations. Believe me it can help to be well organised !

Okay, this is how it is.

Even though you leave the country and come back which resets the 90 day count down clock, more and more immigration offices are asking for the old receipt (even though the date of your 90 day report is wrong) when you make your next 90 day report.

I was with someone doing a 90 day report who had tossed his earlier receipt out when he left the country. They made him go get a police report stating he lost it before he could file his new 90 day report with them.

Now I'm not saying you need to do that, just count down the 90 days and go try to do a report. I'm sure they'll tell you if you need to go get a police report or not.

@R**
, you definitely need to do one in person 90 day report to get into the data base, but then even if you leave the country and come back you can still use it the next time.

Now you've made me look at the last slip! Your right nothing on there. I did notice the last time I did a report was over a year ago though lol

I'm always going somewhere 😁

I know you can reprint it but I thought you needed info off of the previous slip? I don't bother with them but assumed there was something on that slip as you need to do at least 1 manual visit before you can do it online?
Tod *********
@R**
, sorry, you can indeed do a 90 day online report without your receipt of a previous report. There is no information on the previous 90 day report that you use on the next one.

Also IF you did a 90 day report online BUT lost the slip you can reprint it. It keeps a history of all the 90 day reports you've done online.

@T**
, the passport stampin' people at the borders don't care in the least if you've EVER done a 90 day report. They don't fool with them at all.
Ron *******
You wouldn't be able to do your next report online without the slip. I'm with Tod and immigration may very well ask for a Police report on your next 90 day report.

Right but should not have any problems coming in interns of officers wanting to see old slip?

We are living in a modern world and not in the flint stones age. Everything this on records in the computer. So don't worry.

The clock restarts on your 90 day report anyway

You have been out of the country. So that old 90 day report does not count anymore. The day you land. Start counting a new 90 days to go and report again
Janine ******
Yes. But what I meant is that you start counting 90 days from date of entry.
Mike *******
Doubt if it matters.go to immigration next day.and get a copy.
