What should I do if I've lost my TM6 and 90-day reporting slip in Thailand?

I've somehow lost my TM6 and 90-day report paper in my passport. I guess the staples came loose.

I'm due to report again next week.

Is this going to be a problem?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Losing your TM6 and 90-day report paper can be a concern, but it may not necessarily create problems for your reporting obligations. It's advisable to check with your local immigration office regarding their specific requirements; some may ask for a police report while others might issue a new document without this requirement. Additionally, you can report your 90-day stay online if necessary, which simplifies the process.

If you do next 90 days report in person, check your local immigration office. It totally depends on your local office if you need a police report for lost or not. Some require you to have a police report to issue new one, some just issue new TM6/receipt without police report.

You can report 90 day online no problem without them.

Thanks. I just went to immigration to get a new 90 day receipt and new TM6.

One immigration officer told me I didn’t need a TM6 and another said I do because I entered before they stopped issuing them.

Fortunately, I persisted and one eventually confronted the other and I got my new TM6 on the spot. I even got a sincere apology from the first immigration officer, so that was a nice surprise.

As for the 90 day report receipt, they just did a new report for me since it was nearly due anyway.

TM6 is 'suspended' currently for only travelers by air, not by land or so-called sea.

, not quite exactly history yet for those who entered Thailand before July this year by air, or still active for those who enter by land
