What should I do if I've lost my 90-day report slip and my report is overdue in Thailand?

Hola,

I'm overdue my 90 days report + lost the previous 90 days report slip. Should I go to the police and report the lost document and then go to the immigration to do my 90 days report or should i go straight to the immigration and tell them that I have lost the previous 90 days report slip and pay the fine? I'm aware that I need to pay the fine in both cases anyway.

Just worry I would have more risk going to the police and report that I have lost my 90 report slip with a 90 days report that is overdue.😬

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you've lost your 90-day report slip and your report is overdue, you can go directly to the immigration office first with a filled-out TM47 form and your passport. There's a possibility they'll require a police report, but it's best to try filing the report directly. Keep in mind that there's a 2000 baht fine for failing to report on time. Alternatively, you could consider the online reporting option if you have an approximate date of when your report was due.

Try the 90-day online reporting. If you know the approximate date the report is due, just do it within 14 days before. Worst case scenario it gets denied.

look at that image and you'll see that it's two weeks exactly

I guess thaiz count days different than westerners do πŸ˜›

Peter van den Broecke. The day it is due is counted as one of the days, so if doing the reporting before, it is actually 14 days.

i will try it in the future when I'm back on track with my 90 days reportingπŸ‘ŒπŸ½ I had tried it a couple of times but unfortunately always failed due to error pop ups.

Bob Lack. There's a new system now, the old one had too many issues, but the new one seems to be working quite well.

@Bobby *******

Peter van den Broecke. The new system is excellent compared to the old.

The old 90days reporting system address has been linked to a new one. No worries to access to old or new URL. They are the same now.

OP said overdue, so online report or mailing by EMS is not his option currently.

Ellie Takei. True, but he has nothing to lose by giving it a try.

and you're worried about going to file a police report why exactly? Believe me you're far from the first foreigner to lose the 90 day report slip in the history of foreigners comin' to thailand πŸ˜›

If you're that concerned then go to the immigration office FIRST, try to file a 90 day report with just a filled out TM47 form and your passport. Worst case they'll tell you to go get a police report and come back.

As you said, you already know you're pulling a 2000baht fine for failure to file on time. You're out nothing by trying to file the 90 day report with a lost receipt. They aren't gonna do anything but send you away OR allow you to file. That's the only two options.
