Will I encounter issues crossing the border with only one empty page left in my passport after obtaining Laos and Thai visas?

I'm going to Vientiane end of February, and have only 3 empty pages left in my passport.

(I fly to udon) 2 pages will go for visas Lao and Thai. So I will left with one page do you think there will be an issue?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is concerned about having only three empty pages in their passport before traveling to Vientiane, Laos, and flying to Udon Thani, Thailand, as they will need two pages for visas and will be left with one. The comments suggest that while some users have experienced issues with insufficient pages for stamps, others recommend getting a new passport to avoid problems. Specific advice includes ensuring that no pages are marked for endorsements, as they won't allow stamps. It's generally advised to have more space available to prevent any complications at the border.

I had a Thai IO staple my departure card onto the middle smart card of my passport.

Thx for the advice guys, time for new passport as I don't fancy stuck in lao

Some idiot at the border stamped wherever he wanted instead of in neat spaces where they should have previously stamped, anyways it wasted a full page adding to the 2 visas pages and I was gone. New passport required.

I suggest get a new passport unless you have a lot of space on other pages.

Agreed

Obviously some IO’s in some countries don’t care where they stamp...

Because the stamped on a page used for "endorsements" and not for "Visas"....that maybe a problem for IO's in other countries.

Why will they not?

That wouldn't fly if you come across a competent IO. For sure at Thai-Laos border at Nong Khai they will refuse to put the Visa/Stamp on that page

Some how I'm not surprised.

boy that's gonna cut it close :O

Make sure NONE of those remaining pages say "endorsements" on them (like the US passports have) because no one will stamp entry exit stamps on them or stick visas on them either.

It’s only the beginning of Feb just go to your embassy and get a new one...it shouldn’t take more than 2 weeks
Robert *******
Never an issue. When there is no place for stamps you just can not cross the border and stay in that country till you have a new passport.
Steve *******
You should be ok with 3 pages, you've also got the entry/exit stamps for Laos and entry stamp for Thailand on the final page

For what its worth I had no problems doing the same to Cambodia. After coming back just left with a half empty page
