Hey, anyone know the rules of how many blank pages is required to have in you passport for the thai immigration?

I had 2 pages left when Thai immigration told me I should go the USA embassy to get a new passport. I was getting an reentry permit when immigration told me . When I reentered Thailand I had no problem with only one page left over .

I believe it depends on the Passport and whether its a Visa Page or an Endorsement Page....but I think the common trend is at least 2-6 blank Pages where visa stamps can be stamped on....
