Does anyone have any guidance on a neighboring country I can travel to for a few days before returning Bangkok with only two pages left in my US passport?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When considering travel from Bangkok with only two pages left in your US passport, keep in mind that the last few pages are generally used for endorsements and may not be valid for visa or entry stamps. Travelers have noted that countries like Hong Kong do not require a passport stamp but provide a piece of paper for entry, which can be a helpful option.

Please check your passport carefully, the last few pages are named endorsement and not used for Visa or exit/entry stamps. And as this page is for Thai Visa advice and not for what other coutries use and how big are there stamps, I close the commenting.

I don't get stamped in/out of Hong Kong. I receive a piece of paper instead of a stamp. Not sure if that's because I can use the automated gates or no one does.
