TM30 question. If you arrive on a Friday and immigration is closed until the Monday, (TM30 to be submitted within 24 hours) will you be fined? I know you can do it online, which i spent over an hour trying to it that way with no joy whatsoever.
Answer summary
The general consensus in the responses indicates that you will not be fined for filing your TM30 late if immigration is closed on your arrival day. Many users suggested that as long as you file the TM30 on the next available day, you should be fine. There were comments indicating that immigration offices understand that arrivals on Fridays may lead to delays, and several users have shared experiences of not facing penalties for late submissions. A few users also mentioned that registration can be done online successfully, but it may depend on prior setup by the accommodation provider.

It’s not you that does the tm30 it’s the place you are staying or the person you are staying with
Depending on where your stopping,If it's a hotel they will process it for you if its rented the landlord should do it and if its your own home just wait till Monday and go to immigration and do it in person takes 5 minutes then next time you'll be able to do it on line...🙂🙂
Jim Davis You won't need there login credentials they fill everything out and should print you out a copy or send a digital copy to you to print out yourself..
Can anyone tell me if there are any changes regarding TDAC? Is it still 60 days? I’m traveling on September 2nd and would prefer not to be taken by surprise.
Once yo have set it up once and save it. It's only a matter of name , passport number and DOB. The address saves. Next time you get into your own immigration TM 30 site, save the link. Tap into it each time .
Sean Knowles register your condo in the system: You need to upload "a copy of the House Registration of the accommodation premises" = the blue housebook . . .
Sean Knowles you need your blue housebook to be able to register your condo in the TM30 system. You submit, then you will receive a Login-ID and a password. You will be asked to change the password to your liking. From then on you can Log-in into the system online and register yourself as "guest"
Luit van der Linde True, my Thai wife had to come with me, the Blue Book is in her name and our daughter's name. That is what I wanted. If I die in a plane crash, it is all theirs.
Our daughter is a student in Australia, well socialised there, bass guitarist, her own Fender Jazz Bass.
Greg Alexander Before you said "I know nothing", how about I have my Yellow Book, based on my wife's Blue Book?
Bangkok, Samut Prakan City Council, we had to show our marriage certificate, my passport and Non O visa in it.
It took 2 months to get my Yellow Book. The City Council requested Australian Ambassy in Bangkok to report if there are any claims against me.
When it was sorted out, then:
- I got my Yellow Book
- Thai Pink Id card
- Never expiring my TM30, no hotel would ever log their TM30 that overrides my TM30 as I have Thai ID
Those with Thai driver license, see if there is your passport number. My Thai Driving License has no passport number, it has my Thai ID number from the Pink Card (ID for foreigners).
A credit to you, I have always questioned, what happens with the property deeds if an independent (no Thais involved) buys a condo. You said it, thank you.
Jim Davis why do you post such crap? You are misinformed. DELETE your comment and I shall delete my reply. If you leave your comment standing, everybody can see that you have no idea what you are talking about
Jim Davis you are so awfully WRONG, completely WRONG. You should NEVER utter any crap or any rubbish if you don't know what you are talking about. When a foreigner buys a condo in his own name, he will get issued a blue housebook for it on the Land Office!! His name will NOT be listed in the blue housebook because only Thai citizens can be mentioned in a blue housebook. . . .HAVE YOU UNDERSTOOD? Nevertheless, he can use this blue housebook to register his condo within the TM30 system of Thai Immigration. He does NOT need to apply for the yellow housebook, (he can, but why?) his condo's blue housebook is sufficient
Greg Alexander Dead Wrong! A foreigner will never ever have the Blue Book, ownership on a condo.
I own ours but the Blue Book is in the names of my Thai wife and our Thai daughter.
Took us 2 months to get me into the Yellow Book. Bangkok Samut Prakan City Council. They even went to request Australian Embassy in Thailand, if there were any claims against me.
