TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual plans to arrive in Thailand on December 1, 2022, with a return ticket for March 16, 2023, intending to stay for a total of 75 days. They need to confirm if they will be allowed entry into Thailand with their plans, especially since they want to avoid applying for a spouse visa despite being married to a Thai national. Community members clarified that the first day counts as day one, noting the critical dates for the stay. They suggested checking with the airline regarding the return ticket requirement and informed about options for a 30-day extension or a potential family visit extension.

to stay to March 16th will require either a border bounce or getting the 60 day family visit extension of stay.

First....the Day you arrive into Thailand December 1 counts as DAY#1

Day#45 is January 14th

NOT 🚫 February 14th as you stated.

With a 30 Saturday Extension of Stay Day #75 is February 13th... NOT 🚫 March 16th as you stated.

As for the question if Thai immigration will accept you on arrival... Most likely... BUT...

However the real question is...

Will your airline allow you to check in for your flight to Thailand without a ticket departing Thailand within the 45 days stamp you received on arrival ???

Ask your airline.

As you are married to Thai..

You do have the option to apply for the 60 day family visit extension of stay. 1900 Thai baht at the local Thai immigration office.

There are other longer stay options available for you...

Including a One year multiple entry Non O Visa as Married to Thai available at the Savannakhet Thai Embassy... NO PROOF of your depositing 400,000 Thai baht in a Thai bank account in your name only is required.
