Hi all, just was looking for some advice, there’s lots of speculation about UK circuit break/lockdown. Did flights still leave during the last ones? Or is it a case of IF that were to happen there would be no chance of flights? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the impact of potential UK lockdowns on flight availability to Thailand. Participants share experiences indicating that flights continued during previous lockdowns, but express concerns over possible travel restrictions, such as Thailand categorizing the UK as a high-risk area. Some users mention their flight cancellations and speculate on future travel plans amidst the uncertainty.
I put a post up two weeks ago that thailand would ban uk visitors and people were slating me saying I was mad well I think by next Friday I might b saying I told you so hope not I was due to fly 3 Jan lol
Our flights were cancelled back in September for flights this December, then were cancelled for March 22... about a month ago...

flights came but the worry is if Thailand put UK on a red list and quarantine is required. I'm thinking of changing flights to get back

I meant if you are coming to Thailand, the flights will likely be okay but there is a potential that if the UK is redlisted you will have to do 14 day quarantine at a hotel with a number of tests which can be pricey
I have no rush to get home as I’ve quit my job which I’m hoping may work in my favour to be able to dodge the quarantine if it comes to that. Fingers crossed it doesn’t!
