Tomorrow I will apply for re entry permit at the Suvarnabhumi airport. Can someone please advise exactly what I need to prepare apart from passport and the fee?
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi Airport, you need to prepare your passport, a filled TM.8 form (available on-site), and a passport-sized ID photo (costing approximately 200 THB on-site or 100 THB in the city). The fees for the permit are 1,000 THB for a single entry and 3,800 THB for multiple entries. It is advisable to go to Section 2 of security control to find the re-entry permit counter and follow the signage.
Last time at Suvarnabhum there was only me but it took 20 mn!
At Don Muang, no more than 5 mn

Follow the signage to the re-entry permit counter, they will do it all you don't purchase the service fee. Just give them your passport and either 1200baht for the single re-entry permit or 4000baht for the multiple re-entry permit

My advice - pay the 200บ service fee and prepare nothing.
at immigration (suvarnabumi) waiting for my re-entry stamp. You only need the photo + form (provided) + photo + fee. I asked about the 200 thb service fee, they waived me to the TM8 queue laughing. Not sure why but they wouldn’t take my 200. No copy requested.
