Hi all just wondering if anyone had recently got a re-entry permit from Bkk ? I need to get one there as I won't be near any immigration office and I just wanted to know how much time I need to put aside to do this at the airport? Many thanks ππΌ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for obtaining a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) typically takes about 5 to 10 minutes after you have filled out the necessary forms and have your documents ready. It costs around 1200 baht. The re-entry permit desk is located in the International departures area, after security. It's advisable to arrive early, as there may be a queue. One user mentioned that visiting the new immigration office at One Bangkok can take significantly longer, so this information is specific to the airport.
At BKK the re-entry permit desk is in International departures 2, after security but before the Immigration desks at the bottom of the escalator, turn right
Did it last week at the new office at One Bangkok. Office opens at 8.30, I was there at 7.45. About 50 people were already there. Elevators open at 8 am (to the 6th floor).
Have your documents ready to be checked at the Information Desk at the very end of the waiting room then you get a number. I was number 18 for re-entry permits. Officers arrive at 9 am. My number was up at 10.30 AM. Recheck the stamp before leaving.
