Answer summary

The user is inquiring about the possibility of obtaining a re-entry permit at Chiang Mai International Airport on Friday, the 24th, before their departure on the 27th. There are indications that re-entry permits can typically be obtained at local immigration offices during business hours, but the user needs to confirm if processing is available at the airport.

The sales office is behind airport security, so you can only pass with a valid boarding pass. You can buy at local Immigration office during opening hours.

If your looking at flying from Chiang Mai and getting the rentry permit in Bangkok, you best make sure you not clearing immigration in Chiang Mai and then find yourself in the transit hall in Bangkok. It will then be too late.

Why do so. Many people wait until the last minute to get a reentry permit. Could have gotten one their last 9. Day report

My flight lands at 4pm on 27th at Suvarna and my flight departs at 8pm out of Thailand that night. Is that enough time to do the re entry on the same day?
