Hi.

I am leaving Thailand on the 27th (for a holiday) which is a monday. I need to get a re-entry permit, can I get it on friday the 24th at Chiang mai int airport? Or do I have to go to promanada? Or should I just get the re entry permit on the 27th st Suvarnabhumi?

The sales office is behind airport security, so you can only pass with a valid boarding pass. You can buy at local Immigration office during opening hours.

If your looking at flying from Chiang Mai and getting the rentry permit in Bangkok, you best make sure you not clearing immigration in Chiang Mai and then find yourself in the transit hall in Bangkok. It will then be too late.
