Why was my husband's 90-day report rejected while mine was accepted despite having the same visa?

ORIGINAL POSTER
For the first time since years, my husbands 90-day report online was rejected for reason of (tourist) visa โ€ฆ mine was accepted and we both are on an extension of Non-O Visa for reason of retirement.

We have same visa, extension dates, 90-day reporting dates, home address, etc

Anybody can shed a light on why the system would reject one but not the other?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reported that their husband's online 90-day report was rejected, while their own was accepted, despite both having the same Non-O visa for retirement. Comments from other expats highlighted that issues with the online reporting system are common, with many experiencing unexplained rejections. Several suggested reapplying online, while others recommended visiting the immigration office directly due to inconsistencies and unreliable online processes.

and as we can see from the responses the 90 day online system is not without it's "quirks" ๐Ÿ˜›

Thanx one and all. As I mentioned, just apply again and again, until it works or you finally run out of time and have to go in person ๐Ÿ˜•

I recently try to use the app for the first time, usually I go to IM to do it. Two days later I got a mail saying my application was rejected, because, as it said, the first time 90 days reporting has to be done at IM ? Iโ€™ve done many many 90 days reporting so I didnโ€™t understand. I went to IM and asked and they just replied: System no good, try again next time ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

Online reporting system is a hit and miss. Go to the immigration and they sort you out. 90 day report is not a permission to stay.

Me too have problem this time

After years of online report

This time rejected 3 times

I go office today and get no explaination why online no work...or why was rejected

Guess next time who know....

Perhaps you both stayed at a hotel which only bothered to do a TM30 for him and not for you?

Ours was rejected once for no reason, we resubmitted and it went fine. Then another time it turned out one of us went on a short trip and stayed in a hotel, so TM-30 had to be reregistered again... Just try again, and if not - physically apply to immigration office.

You have to reregister after you stayed in a hotel?

Mine was rejected as "we were out of Thailand", though we did not leave country for couple years now

This is why I always just physically go into immigration and do mine there.

Ima continue doing so until they get their shit together and make it work.

When that'll be, who knows.

No reason to not try and do it online a few days in advance. If it works - save a trip to immigration. If it doesn't, go there on or around the due date. That's what I do. Win-draw scenario!

In approx 8-10 consecutive online report-in's I've never been rejected. Not saying it (rejection) doesn't happen - happened to a pal of mine the other day. Just saying; nothing ventured, nothing gained.

me too, always been there in person, so much better having personal contact, can talk and can ask questions and get information

Nope there is no rhyme or reason to why people who have been doing 90 day reports successfully before suddenly get denied and for reasons that don't even make sense

As long as you're still within the "window of opportunity" to apply online do it again, use the calendar drop down to select the entry date to thailand and the extension valid date.

I know someone who applied a dozen times (all rejected ๐Ÿ˜• ) and for different reasons.

I've been rejected 6 times, the 7th time it worked. ๐Ÿคฏ Don't ask me why โ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜…

Interesting. That suggests that you might as well submit online repeatedly until the day before it is due. Nothing to lose by trying.
