This site is useless..a few queries are answered too, most are not receiving a reply or declined. Every individual has issues with Thai immigration no matter how small or complex the problem may be it's still a valid question in the mind of the OP.

Over and Out...good riddens.

Folk's... it's been an hour since I posted his question. I believe that he has the answers needed for his question.

He needs to visit the Thai Immigration office in Phuket. They can advise him what he needs to do to get the one year extension of stay as retired.

If he has further questions, please PM me or a Moderator. We will try to reply.

This forum is for assisting members who wish to "Do It Themselves". (And not with services provided at a cost).

IF the OP was living in another province and obtained the one year extension stamp in that province, then moved to Phuket, he needs to file a New TM30 address registration for his Phuket address with Phuket Immigration office.

Thank you and Good Night Thailand.

I find this group is very helpful and informed on the subjects that are presented to them so if you don’t like the answers you could always go back to before this page was set up and pull you hair out trying to get some form of information that was anyway near correct

I tried posting a few questions here and I'm pretty sure all were declined, and that's fine. When I looked at the reason why I was declined the reason is clear and I've received an answer from admin to the question asked. I think this is a great group, administered extremely well, but probably most suited to grown ups.

Oh wow complaining about a Facebook page that gives a service completely free….. plenty of lawyer and agencies out there that will help you out for a fee! It happens to me that I ask a question and it doesn’t get answered… so? But the help I got from this page is invaluable….. I can’t believe that someone is actually complaining about a free page…

ikr? I’ve received so much help from the folks who donate a tremendous amount of time here. Sure, there are some trolls whom I could do without, but the great helpers make the annoyance well worth tolerating.

If you cannot tolerate clarifying questions for someone to assist you with a specific answer according to YOUR needs…then you can’t.

If all you want to do is to provoke in the manner of a self-absorbed teenager, then stay away.

In the immortal words of Col Jessup:

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it.

I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand the post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think you're entitled to!

These are the common found requirements for the one year extension of stay as retired. Be sure to have a TM30 address registration on file with Phuket Immigration. AND your 90 day report filed as required EACH 90 days.

Suggest you visit Phuket Thai Immigration now... Ask them for their list of requirements.

I suggest some may be better served seeking answers from a ‘pay as you go’ service. Free is free people helping and supporting others is free Get human.

?

Over and out is incorrect.

"Over" ends the transmission and invites a reply.

"Out" ends the contact.

You cannot use both

Please Note that I ASKED you for clarifications in my PM to you....

And you have not 🚫 replied to my request.

WERE YOU LIVING IN THE PROVINCE WHERE THE ONE YEAR EXTENSION STAMP WAS ISSUED?

OR WERE YOU LIVING IN PHUKET WHEN THE ONE YEAR EXTENSION WAS ISSUED ?

Have you submitted to the PHUKET Thai Immigration office a TM30 address registration when and if you moved to Phuket?

For the record... this is the ONLY TIME which you have submitted a question...

We have not 🚫 heard from you before... ONLY ONE TIME.

You are a NEW forum Member, joined January 24, 2024

And which I replied to you.

You need to Ask Phuket Immigration IF they will allow you to obtain your renewal.
