I have seen this question asked and answered. I even saved it but that was on my old laptop. My retirement visa is up in October. I will not have the 800,000B for 3 months as required. I read on here someone was told go to the American Embassy and get a finical statement from them fill it out they will notarize it and you are good. They do not ask for bank statements
Thanks.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion provides guidance for expats renewing a retirement visa in Thailand when they cannot meet the financial requirement of having 800,000 baht in a Thai bank account for three months. It suggests obtaining a notarized affidavit of income from the US Embassy, which some expats have successfully used for visa extensions without needing to show bank statements. The conversation also includes information about the notarization process, costs, and a form link for the US consulate. Users share experiences of rarely being asked for proof of income when using the affidavit.
