told you it started to happen, but you keep saying it’s a hearsay. Call it as you please. One IO will let you in, one will refuse your entry, another will cancel your entire 5-year visa. If you got a DTV to perform soft power activities and they find out you’re abusing it, it may not end up well. Not the first “hearsay”.

Not stopped from coming in though as you asserted. Nobody has posted they were denied entry and DTV cancelled. I wonder what is behind you spreading these rumours?

Sorry if English is not your first language but I am not into cryptic crosswords. Ahh so your wife is a visa agent? Even if true it has happened one time that anyone is claiming. PS When they cancelled his DTV at entry did he come in on Visa Exemption?

yes my wife is an agent, the guy came to her needing help with retirement, but he doesn’t meet financial requirements for a retirement visa (he has 500k though) even for a mix 500k+pension it’s not enough as his pension is very low. It’s the reason he paid for a 6-months course to get a DTV visa thinking it will last for 5 years because he was told so. When being questioned after 6 months if he still does Muay Thai he said no and that he doesn’t want to, and they canceled his visa, let him in for 60 days, told next time come on a retirement one, but he can’t get it either for the reasons above. Does it make sense now?

OK - that is 1 single case out of how many total DTV and entries that someone was questioned and his DTV was cancelled at the entry point.

may be correct, yes. All I’m saying is that just having 5-year sticker doesn’t guarantee that you may enter Thailand for 5-years. Because not having a course after 6-months caused visa cancellation, for whether one case or more that we don’t know about. That’s my entire point.

Of course a 5 year visa, a SETV or any other visa does not guarantee entry. The MFA state that clearly on their website. Final discretion is down to Immigration.

why be sorry for English not being my first language? Can you speak Thai? I’m sorry it’s not your first language either though. Use AI if you can’t understand what I’m saying and need help with that. I thought you’re a Group Expert

I’m literally telling you the guy came to my wife to discuss retirement visa while showing cancelled DTV in his passport when refused to do Muay Thai after 6 months, and was told by IO to get a retirement visa instead and you say I spread rumours, this is starting to be ridiculous 😂 up to you man.
