I entered for the first time on my dtv soft power, cooking classes. I was questioned but it was pretty reasonable and was not asked to show any documents.
She asked if I was a chef, I said no and just that I love thai food.
I do wonder if it'll be like this every time I come back in.
I actually do love to cook and I am prepared to keep taking these throughout!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses a user's experience entering Thailand under a DTV visa for cooking classes, mentioning reasonable questioning by immigration without the need for document evidence. They wonder if the process will be similar on future visits. Commenters offer advice, predicting possible future scrutiny and suggest documenting participation in classes, along with humorous takes on immigration expectations.
On your 2nd year of entry, IO will take you aside and ask you to cook some thai food and they will determine if you can enter if the food is good or not π
Just make sure you actually attend the classes. Thereβs a chance immigration may start asking for proof of attendance in the future, so just keep that in mind.
