Do I need to complete the TDAC form if I'm waiting for my DTV visa while still needing to provide flight details?

I am currently waiting to hear back any day now for my dtv.
This will be the first time since I’ve left Thailand since the TDAC has come into place, will I still need to do the TDAC form online even though I will have a DTV visa (fingers crossed), and if so how am I meant to put my flight details in 3 days before if I’m still waiting on the results for my dtv?
Should I wait for my dtv results and then stay 3 more days? Or how long does it actually take to get accepted for the tdac ?

I just came back from Vietnam yesterday.. after receiving my approved dtv. I subbed my TDAC stuff day before my flight yesterday.. its instant approved or declined.
FYI if you get your dtv you get a visa number on the doc. Incl that # in your tdac app where it says visa number..

Digital arrival card can be registered online at anytime within 3 days before landing in Thailand.....at the immigration you need to show the digital arrival card....

Yes...you can do it after you book your flights (not before 3 days you fly) and before you board the flight....and in fact after you get down in Thailand and before you go to immigration.....I hope that clarifies.

Anonymous participant Up to 72 hours before. You can do it at the Thai Airport seconds before you present to an Immigration Officer for entry. FFS

Anonymous participant it basically means you cannot apply for a DTAC until up to 3 days before travel. Not that you must do 3 days before travel. The DTAC is issued pretty instantly via email and it also gives you an option to amend the travel date if needed.

but that wouldn’t give me 3 days, confused about this 3 day rule. Let’s say I get accepted for my dtv today and fly from Hanoi to Bangkok tomorrow. If I do the dtac today that would only be 1 day until I land in Thailand, not 3 ?

You cannot be in Thailand when you applied for the DTV visa.
Or did you apply for the DTV visa and returned to Thailand while the Thai Embassy or Consulate reviewed your application...

You are supposed to stay in the country where you made your DTV Visa Application.... until the decision is known.
Do NOT 🚫 leave the country where you made application for the DTV visa until the decision is known.

The TDAC is for everybody. You don't have to complete it 3 days before your departure date. You have to complete it up to 3 days before your departure date.
