I would like to know if you can apply for Destination Thailand Visa while you are in Thailand already?

Also before coming to Thailand i got 90 days tourist visa single entry but immigration stamped 60 days from entry. Anybody had similar case? Now not sure when I should leave the country. Asked issuing embassy and immigration office but no answer...

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus is that you cannot apply for a Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) while already in Thailand. It is confirmed that tourist visas typically allow a stay of 60 days, which can be extended for an additional 30 days through local immigration offices. If your visa shows a 60-day entry stamp, you are expected to leave by that date or earlier. For applying for the DTV, you must leave Thailand and submit your application from abroad.

You can come to Thailand and prepare your documents but then you have to leave the country to where you are applying and stay there until approved.

Tourist visas are 60 days you can extend 30 days in country once.

If you mean visa exempt they are also 60 + 30 unless you come from one of the four countries that get 90 days visa exempt. Brazil is one. I can't remember the others.

Your tourist visa is 60 days, but you had 90 days to activate it. Now that it is activated, you have to leave the date stamped in your passport or earlier. You can only apply for DTV while outside of Thailand

You can't apply for any tourist visa inside Thailand including the DTV. Your 60 days stamp is correct but you can go to your local immigration office and buy a 30 day extension

No you cant. Also, if you have tourist visa its 60days which you can extend for another 30day. Only 90day visa i know is non-o and thats not tourist visa. So maybe they didnt make a mistake?
