Hello friends. Do I understand the TDAC eliminate the need to show a valid exit ticket/date (within 30 days) before departure for visa-free entries, allowing to leave Thailand beyond 30 days, after extension?
Thanks.
Summary so far
The TDAC, or Thailand Digital Arrival Card, does not eliminate the requirement for valid exit tickets for travelers entering Thailand visa-free. It serves as a digital version of the former TM6 paper arrival card and is mandatory for all non-Thai citizens upon entry. However, airlines may still request proof of onward travel tickets regardless of the TDAC submission. Several comments clarify that the TDAC is only an informational tool and not a visa, emphasizing that it has no impact on existing exit ticket requirements.

Even with a TDAC your airline might still ask for proof of onward travel
