Where should I go for my tourist visa extension, MTT or Chaeng Watthana, and is an appointment necessary?

Hello, my tourist visa extension expires on the 28th. I had been going to MTT for the extensions prior, but am unsure of where to go now since the website is down. Are we allowed to go in without an appointment? And is it MTT or Chaeng Watthana for the covid extension tourist visa? Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is seeking guidance on where to apply for a tourist visa extension as their current extension expires soon. They were previously visiting MTT but are uncertain about the process now due to the website being down and inquiring if appointment slots are mandatory. Comments clarify the appropriate offices depending on visa type, confirm that walk-in service is currently allowed, and provide insights into which location (MTT or Chaeng Watthana) is suitable for their situation.

And this is why terminology is SO very important people. :/

there is no "original 30 day tourist visa" So you are here on what's known as a visa exempt entry <- it means you showed up with NO visa in your passport and were stamped in for FREE for 30 days? Right?

In that case you still go to MTT just like you have been at Counter K. and remember they are only letting 300 people a day show up SO go on the 27th OR on the 29th <- you won't be fined for overstay because the office was closed the date your stamp expired

thanks for response, I have the original 30 day tourist visa but had been going to MTT to get the covid extension while I’ve been here. So I am still unsure, do I go to MTT or CW?

Could he still go to immigration on the 29th if his extension expires on the 28th because it's closed/holiday on that day? Guess you can still do this with any extenstion including an existing COVID one; might be busy on the Tuesday

he CAN apply for extension on 29th with getting overstay stamp, but without paying fine for overstay because expiring date is on business holiday.

What is a "tourist visa"? If this is a 45 day visa exempt stamp, then you would go to MTT. They only accept 300 people in a day. If this is a 60 day tourist visa, you would go to Chaeang Watthana 3 business days before your current stamp expires.

The appointment system is currently not working, and it's walk-in only service
