Hi everyone and thanks admins for all your work and time in this group.
Hopefully an easy one for you to answer or confirm. Ive been out of the loop for latest and not sure how much has changed if at all.
I am in Bangkok and am finishing up my first 60 day covid extension visa in a few days after having a previous Non B.
Q: Do I reapply for that same extension for another 60 days and if so what are the forms/things needed. (My previous work graciously did the paperwork for me so I dont know what forms they used or the exact process).
Is it the same procedure: Go to CW (where i went last time), file documents, close loop after 2 weeks...etc?
Thanks for your time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the process for reapplying for a 60-day COVID extension visa in Bangkok after their initial extension is about to expire. They seek confirmation on whether they need to follow the same application procedure as before and what forms are needed, as their previous employer handled the paperwork. A comment confirms that the process is the same as before, reiterating the need for the same forms and counter at Chaengwattana, although it notes the user might be at a disadvantage for lacking knowledge about the required paperwork.
No worries, Ive been around the block with immigration more than enough times on a few diff matters, just not the covid extensions. ๐ I found info from others and admins on forms, just wanted to confirm if anything is different. Looks like its not based on the post from Benjamin, yeah?
On a side note, is there any Visa that allows to work outside Thailand remotely while this covid gets sorted?
And thanks for the quick reply. I got my answers. Cheers Tod!
the way that "work remotely outside the country and generate money outside the country" dealy works is you keep your head down and your mouth shut about what you're doing, don't post about it, don't tell a thai about it, don't tell anyone about it and you'll be fine. It's a loose lips sinks ships sort of thing. While it is technically not illegal to be IN thailand and yet work remotely outside the country (because there is nothing in the labor laws about it) all it takes is one person with an axe to grind to try to throw you under the bus and even if you're not breaking the law, you will be run right off the proverbial rails.
