TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, it is possible to extend your visa for 60 days in Thailand due to COVID-19. You must apply for this extension at the immigration office before your current visa expires. The cost for this extension is typically around 1,900 THB. It's important to note that previous amnesty provisions are no longer available, and you can only extend your stay once. Ensure you have all necessary documents ready for the application.

1. This is an English only group. I deleted some non English comments.

2. The OP looks like to have gotten an extension of stay already. He can get another 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. This requires the same documents as last time, and will cost 1,900 THB.

Facebook translates languages. You are working too hard.

Facebook does translate languages. However, it's our experience that Facebook does not:

1. Translate idioms

2. Is unable to translate high-context concepts

3. Does not provide a 100% clear translation.

To minimize confusion, we decided to make our group "English Only"

you were granted 45 days admitted stay/or extension of stay permit until on December 29th, valid until February 13th. You can extend one time for 30 more days for 1900 THB. Maybe the Immigration officer MIGHT grant you the 60-days Covid19-extension valid from the date you visit them, but as a rule you normally first receive the usual 30 days extension, before you can apply for the "unable to fly home covid19-extension". Look out carefully, some information given here was wrong - there are no more border runs possible at the moment !!

Make application for a 60 days COVID extension before your current end date of February 13. Suggest going in a few days before . 1,900 Thai baht at immigration.

Amnesty is over as of October 30. A person can get a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. The cost is 1,900 THB.

Amnesty finished in October. The ability to extend your stay based on COVID was extended until March 30th.
