TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa for an additional 30 days after the initial 60-day period in Thailand, you can visit your local Immigration Office. It might be helpful to specify your location within Thailand, as procedures may vary slightly depending on the region.

I want to plan my stay based on where I can extend my visa. ๐Ÿ˜‚ For example can I extend my visa in Koh Samui?

you go to the immigration office that serves the area where you stay in thailand when you're going to apply for the extension.

Keep in mind there are OVER 80 offices in the country, and yes Samui has one, go to the office and get the list of required documents or post on a samui group and ask
