Ok need your help. I am from the USA and I came over on a tourist visa and was in and out three times and extended the extra 30 days.

Back in USA now.

So when is the next time I can come on a tourist visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, who previously entered Thailand multiple times on a tourist visa and extended their stay, is inquiring about the next opportunity to return on a tourist visa after returning to the USA. Comments suggest considerations for applying for a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa for longer stays and the general advice that visa approval does not guarantee entry into Thailand.

Would this raise flags if you're doing this with a family rather than just doing this alone?

I go every 90 days. Stay for 30. Doing this for years. No issues, get my stamp within seconds. Off I go.

If you like to visit Thailand for a longer time, take a look at the Multiple Entry Tourist Visa before you go. It gives you 270 days of stay if correctly used.

METV must be applied for in home country only. I think the OP already used one since he mentioned being in and out of the country 3 times on a tourist visa.

of course, you can be asked to show proof of funds, proof of address and proof of onward travel but having a visa IS a step in the right direction

Actually Steve getting the visa does not mean you will be allowed to enter the country. Though I have to say I have not heard of that happening.
