TLDR : Answer Summary
A user in Pattaya is seeking advice on where to exchange Thai Baht for US Dollars for their visa into Cambodia. Suggestions include using local exchange booths like TT Exchange or Damini Gold Shop, as well as ATMs in Cambodia which dispense US Dollars. Some commenters note that paying for the visa can be done in Thai Baht at certain borders, while cautioning against receiving old US bills which may not be accepted.
The other thing to remember is that ‘Old’ US dollar notes aren’t accepted. I was there last year and I got a US one dollar bill in my change and when I tried to pay for something with it they wouldn’t accept it…because it was old. I must admit though, I’m not really sure what’s considered as an old dollar note. Maybe worth a google
who 's the idiot ? isn't it the guy who is traveling in Pataya ! and doesn't know where he could change bahts against dollars . it's getting really patheric
great for him if he couldn't find it by himself ! poor little boy lost in Pattaya !!! I hope he found a place where he'll get one more dollar than next door. it will pay for
I believe you may have mistaken me with yourself . I don't need to even respond. However if pointing out other people's weaknesses or failings makes you happy . Then please feel free to carry on . Me on the other hand will carry on surrounding myself with positive and emotionally mature people. Thank You again for your help
I wouldn't need anybody to find a money change's booth in Pattaya to save me 1 dollar to buy a visa to Cambodge . so pathetic . but we know why people go to Pattaya .
because you are the oracle and the milk of human kindness personified. Anyway you don't know me or why I am here so let's just leave it there. I have more important matters to resolve. Thank you kindly again
No answer will be forthcoming for 2 reasons. 1) You would probably not comprehend it & 2) I prefer not to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed person. Enjoy your rage ....
advice is walk in the streets , check out every "money change " booth . they are every where . if you're not able to do that by yourself . you have a problem
