I have submitted my visa application to the Thai embassy in Sydney, I have confirmation of lodgement and visa no.
I did not see any provision to pay the 60 Australian dollar fee,it is the 60day tourist visa I applied for. The acknowledgement email it says it may take 5 /7 days before I hear of acceptance of visa ,when do they take the payment.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has submitted a visa application for a 60-day tourist visa to the Thai embassy in Sydney and is unclear about the payment process for the associated fee of 60 Australian dollars. According to comments, the user has not yet completed the application but has received a pre-approval acknowledgment. Payment will typically be required after pre-approval, along with the submission of the passport and other documents.
I just done mine . I got pre-approval last Tuesday and copied all the paperwork that I submitted for the approval then got a money order for 60 dollars ( visa fee ) put a registered envelope for the return of my passport all in one letter envelope and sent of Friday afternoon
when you get the email back confirming pre-approval you then send your passport and paperwork and payment plus a return prepaid postage bag to the Sydney consulate
You haven't submitted your visa application yet. You've submitted your documents for pre-approval. If they approve what you have submitted, you will need to send all of those documents along with your passport to the embassy via mail and get your visa. I assume payment instructions will come along with your pre-approval.
