I am on a retirement visa but went to Australia and returned to Thailand early March. After I returned I renewed my visa for a further 12 months so extended until April 27. Would I do a 90 day report from March or from April now?
Answer summary
After renewing your retirement visa in Thailand, your 90-day reporting date may depend on several factors. Some advise that you should report 90 days from your date of entry into Thailand if you did not receive confirmation from immigration regarding the next reporting date. Others suggest it could be linked to your visa renewal date or an immigration slip provided at renewal. It's essential to check your passport for any notes from immigration to clarify this.

lol conflicting info there but I will check through my passport
It depends. If immigration put a slip in your passport with your next reporting date then that is the date to go by. If they didn't it will be 90 days from entry including the day of entry
Last renewal i got a slip from the immigration department telling when to report the 90 days.. or simply saying.. counted from the day that visa was granted.
I believe the extension and the TM30 being part of it counts as equivalent to a reporting and clock is reset. Therefore 90 days from the date of attending the visa renewal. My IO even put a note in my passport with the 90 day reporting date last time.
