Do I need to renew my expired address notification for my visa extension in Thailand?

My receipt of notification for my address has been expired for awhile now and I haven’t had any issues. One young volunteer told me I couldn’t get another covid extension unless I update it, but I told him they’d never said anything before. So he let me go through anyway. That was months ago. The immigration officers have never said anything (including today). I’m still living in the same room listed on the paper. Do I need to get a new one and what is the process for that?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is asking whether they need to renew their expired address notification for visa purposes, particularly in the context of recent COVID extensions. While immigration officers have not raised issues about the expired notification during visits, there are mixed opinions regarding the necessity of updating it for future extensions. Some users mention that different immigration offices may have varying requirements about 90-day reports, especially during COVID-related extensions. Thus, it is advisable to check with the specific immigration office regarding their current policies.

I close it down, the OP knows where he does his application and knows that twice the date was not a problem.

Talking about other offices and possible fines does not contribute to this question.

Most immigration offices do NOT require separate 90 day reports while on 60-day COVID extensions. Does not make sense anyway, since it is in the very nature of 60-day extensions, that you report and proof your current address every 60 days. Other immigration offices however seem to do require separate 90-day reports even on (in between) short term 60-day extensions (lastly heard so from people on Phangan / Koh Tao). The usual inconsistent mess. So it will depend on where you do your next COVID extension. You may or may not be fined 2,000 baht.

The document looks to me as a slip of the 90 day report from TM47. Some Immigration Offices do ask to make this report, even when you report yourself every 60 days for a new Extension of Stay based on can not travel due to Covid.

Odd they don't update it if it's required by your immigration office. You might be unlucky one day and get an officer who decides to fine you for being late

They didn’t mention it being expired but it’s a required document each time I go 😕

Ok thanks. So it’d probably be best to sort out a new one

As you mention. the Immigration Office you use did not mention it twice. I would take it out the passport and just forget it.
