What was the experience of applying for a TR visa in Kuala Lumpur like?

Today in KL apply for TR visa, appointment online day before, I had a time 09:45, everything was done before 10:00, New appointment for tomorrow to pick up visa, also online, very quick, could see a few people came without appointment, that was a no go, do it online

basically it is just Vientiane and Savannakhet that got strict on visa applicaions. I frequently look at the online system of KL and you can even get slots for the same day. Looks like they are very reasonable.

GO to the website of the thai consulate in KL and read the requirements they have posted. Meet the requirements get the visa, don't meet them don't get the visa ;)

Yep, they check return ticket KL to Thailand and out of Thailand i have a open ticket it was dated late October out of Thailand, they want a copy of it

It so easy to do it online, I think they only allow 130 visa application every day, me think

glad to hear that the online system is working fine there.

Bummer for those people who just showed up and didn't have appointments. Hopefully they could go to an internet shop and book one for the next day..

There is a hotel/apartment across the road called Holiday Place (D'Villa) with a business center at the back of the lobby. They have printouts of the visa application form and checklist available for RM2 each. They also take passport photos and have a computer there for Internet access.
