Hi/sawadi krap everyone, hope you're doing well.

Question about getting a working/entrepreneur visa:

I'm coming to Thailand soon to visit and maybe start a business (quality & healthy fast food concept).

Do you know which visa should I apply for if I want to settle & start this business in Thanland ? And Is it better to apply before arrival or in Thailand.

Thank you 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The best visa to apply for when considering starting a business in Thailand is the Non-B (Non-Immigrant Business) visa. However, you would typically need a job offer from a Thai company to qualify, which may be challenging if your business has not yet been established. Therefore, it is advisable to enter Thailand with a tourist visa first, allowing you to consult with local legal and accounting professionals regarding your business plan. Additionally, ensure that your business idea does not involve any restricted occupations for foreigners.

Also make absolutely sure your business idea, and the work you would do, doesn't involve restricted jobs foreigners can't do legally.

To get a visa to allow you to work in Thailand requires a Non B (Non immigrant Business) visa. Unless you’re married to a Thai national. To obtain a Non B requires at the minimum a job offer from a Thai company. As yet that Thai company (yours) doesn’t exist so it’s not something you’re going to be able to apply for before you arrive. You’re probably best to enter using something like a tourist visa and speak to local lawyers or accountants about setting up a business and go from there.
