Can I still obtain a one-year multiple-entry Non-B visa for Thailand from the UK?

So now we cannot get 1 year multiple entry non b?

I have WP and am director of Thai company for over 4 years and UK Thai embassy in London are now only issuing 3 month single entry?

I could live with the 90 day border bounce before but re-applying for new visa every three months is ridiculous.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The ability to obtain a one-year multiple-entry Non-B visa from the UK is currently not available; instead, the UK Thai embassy is only issuing a three-month single-entry visa. However, there are alternative routes to secure the one-year visa, such as applying through Thai consulates in Penang or Kota Bharu, Malaysia. Additionally, one can enter Thailand on a Single Entry Non-Immigrant B visa and then apply for a one-year extension of stay based on employment within Thailand.

and I think that
@Li***
now knows that it is a waste of time to look for logic when there is none to be had AND they also know where they need to go to get a year-long, multi-entry Non-B visa if they need one ;)

You can go to Penang, Malaysia and get a one year Non Imm B Multi-Entry Visa - that requires you to do a border run every 90 days.

you CAN get the year-long, multi-entry Non-B visa just not from the UK and more.

Right now you can get it from the thai consulates in Penang or Kota Bharu Malaysia.

than follow the way it is set up, get a Single Entry Non Immigrant B visa to enter Thailand, get 90 days of Admitted to Stay and apply than at your local Immigration office for the 1 year Extension of Stay based on working inside Thailand. 1 year, no need to do border runs, only 1.900 Thb and if you like to travel you buy the Re-Entry Permit.

You need to chase an Embassy, because you do not meet the requirement of immigration, do not start to put the blame on Thai Consulates.

it is what it is, and there is no sense looking for logic where there is none.

I and other posters told you further down this thread where to go to get the visa you want.

You have a simple choice; you either go there or you don't get the visa :/

Yes I have checked this "1 year no visa run extension" before and I am not eligible because I don't have enough full time Thai staff to qualify for it.

I'm not asking for something new, just for the same visa I have already been approved for the last 4 years.

If the rules are supposed to be clear and standardised why do we need to chase which embassy or consulate is changing their position of issuing the same visa as another embassy?

and have you gone to your immigration office and gotten the hand out that lists the requirements to get a yearly extension yet? OR are you just "hearing" they said this?

You need the x number of Thais for your work permit and you also need them for the Extension of Stay. Difference is that for Work Permit you only need their ID card and house book registration, which many Thai people will give you, but for Immigration you need to pay tax and social security for them. It has nothing to do with small business.

I keep hearing that the immigration office won't approve the extension of stay for small companies unless you have x number of Thai employees. Why approve a 1 year WP and then deny the visa that goes with it. The WP should be enough to get a matching visa not the other way round.
