Hi everyone!

My family visa visit ends on August 13th

I have already done 2 visas this year

I start sending 40k every month from Dec 2022 because I don't have 400k for visa family!

I'm not married but we live together!

I go to court and I'm already making paper to make a passport, I just have to translate into Italian to make!

My Thai baby was born in Samui on March 23, 2020 and I haven't been home to Italy since November 2019.

i try to ask some family agent about visa and not 400k but ask me 55k… yeah ok 15 months not only 12 but too expensive!

Tomorrow I'll ask some agents more...

My question is what visa can I do from 13th August to December?

in december its 12 consecutive months i am sending 40k from italy i just need to ask my thai bank to make the paper for presentation to samui immigration office plus all other papers that will be similar to family visit visa?

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's family visa is expiring on August 13, and they are seeking alternatives for visa options until December. They have been sending 40k monthly since December 2022 but do not have the 400k in their Thai bank account required for certain visa types. They are exploring the possibility of an extension based on supporting their Thai child. Community responses suggest options like applying for a Non-O visa with the child's birth certificate and utilizing an income affidavit from the Italian embassy, while also considering cheaper visa assistance from a recommended agent.

Don't need to take marriage visa , you can choose baby care visa (ı read on visa agency page)

İf divorced situation , After the divorce, the Thai Court will show you the 65k income certificate you signed before

Your home country's Embassy can provide you with a document proving that you have over 65,000 monthly income.

AFTER u have the 400,000 in the bank fly out or land border and return on a 30 day visa exempt entry>

day after you arrive go to immigration with ur bank book and child's BC and tell them you want a non o conversion . They will tell you what else you need, the visa is 2,000 baht, Than after 60 days apply for the 1 year extension.

To get the initial 90 day Non-O visa inside Thailand you can not use monthly transfers, you need the 400k in a Thai bank in your name. Same for the first extension to that visa. If the Italian embassy provides an income affidavit you can use that for everything and don't need the monthly transfers at all, a number of embassies have stopped providing income affidavits but I don't know about the Italian embassy

Can the Non-O for a Thai child be obtained from a neighbouring Embassy/Consulate in order to get his funds up to the 400k in time for the first extension?

@Graham *****
no it doesn't, it only gives him one month, as the funds have to be seasoned for 2 months. But it's irrelevant really as it looks like the Italian embassy provides an income affidavit so all he has to do is go to the embassy and show them proof of his income. They will issue him a certificate which he can take to immigration and apply for the Non-O visa. No need for funds in a Thai bank, and because his embassy issues an income affidavit he can't use monthly transfers for extensions either.

you don't need 400k, you need to go to your embassy and get an income affidavit.
John **********
@Graham *****
That wouldn't help much as the funds need to be in the account for 2 months before applying for the extension

@John *********
But it gives him 90 days to get to the 400k and season it

If your named on your child's birth certificate, you might be able to apply for an extension to "support a Thai child". However, I'm not sure what extra documents you might need to produce, best to ask your immigration office.

its the visa family visit 2 month? if is that i do already!

@Reda *******
I was referring to an annual extension, but you might need to apply for a non imm visa from outside the country and then you can extend it for 13 months, as I outlined. You would be best to contact your immigration office so they will outline what they require.

actually it's immaterial as being Italian your embassy provides an income affidavit. As it does you MUST use this method rather than monthly transfers as far as I'm aware. Which is positive for you as immigration are not going to issue you a Non-O visa without 400k in the bank other than with this income affidavit.
