Hi everyone, seems like the application process leaves a category of online worker in between categories...: I own online stores in different platforms as a sole proprietor, not a business. I therefore cannot really apply as a business owner, but applying under freelance doesn't really feel right either. (My payouts come from marketplaces like Etsy, not clients). I do pay taxes in my own country and it's all legit, just doesn't fit in either categories of application. Has anyone found themselves in the same spot, and found a way? Feedbacks much appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on obtaining a visa as an online store owner who operates as a sole proprietor, feeling caught between categories for freelancers and business owners. Several commenters suggest that demonstrating the online business and having proper business registration may help overcome this issue, comparing the user's situation to those of YouTubers and online freelancers.
In my country you do need to register a business first in order to be a sole proprietor, so it depends on the country. In those cases applying at the same country where you run the business is better as one can asume the embassy there would know how business are managed in the country.
