My Second Question About DTV Workation Eligibility

Hi everyone,

I run a sole proprietorship in my home country, and I sell my own branded products through online marketplaces (similar to Amazon, Lazada, Shopee, etc.). All my income is generated outside Thailand, and I have no Thai clients, no Thai employees, and no business operations inside Thailand.

I would like to apply for the DTV Workation category, but I am not sure if my case fits the requirements.

👉 Does a self-employed online seller, who earns income from foreign customers/platforms, qualify for the DTV Workation visa?

👉 Do they consider this type of e-commerce income as “remote work with foreign income”?

If anyone has experience or official clarification, I would truly appreciate your help.

Thank you!

Your remote self-employed business is ideal for the visa. Just make certain you give the embassy everything they ask for. When you compile your documents, imagine being the worker who reviews your application. Make sure everything is well-organized, highlighting what they need to see. The less complicated, the better. Good luck!
