TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is inquiring whether online selling or e-commerce qualifies as freelancing for obtaining a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand. They express concern about previously being interrogated at the airport due to their work situation, which involves splitting time between Bangkok and the Philippines for shipping and live selling. Respondents clarify that such activities may not qualify for the DTV, suggesting alternative routes like enrolling in classes (soft power) instead.

You are doing business in Thailand to sell elsewhere so they won't approve the DTV that way. Softpower route is best.

What are you selling? To who? You need to be in Thailand to do it?

You would be working in Thailand, earning money in Thailand. That’s not what the DTV remote working means.

Not allowed. Just book a muay Thai or cooking course and apply through soft power.

No worries. At the end of the day a DTV is a DTV. It doesn't matter how you apply you will get a 5 year multiple entry visa.
